Pastor Andrew E. Robinson, Sr., the anointed pastor of Second Missionary Baptist Church of Oxford, Mississippi, is a native of Canton, MS and has received his B.A. in Biblical Studies and is currently working on a Master's in Theology. He accepted his ministry calling at the age of eighteen. He served as a youth minister and missionary for Alstar Community Outreach for Christ. He served as a missionary to Hermocillo Mexico, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Los Angeles, California. He went on to serve as interim pastor of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Woodland, Ms 7 months.

He began his pastorate at Second Missionary Baptist in October 2006. Pastor Robinson now serves as First Vice President of The New Educational State Convention of Mississppi under the Leadership of Rev. W.L. Hightower.

Affectionately known as "Little Rivers", Pastor Robinson is a powerful, uncompromising preacher of the Gospel. The son of the renown Rev. Eugene Rivers (Mississippi Midget), he was challenged to be one of God's best from the beginning. Pastor Robinson is known for preaching across the nation and abroad. His ministry and work has touched many lives across the country. Pastor Robinson is a vocalist whose voice always reaches the heart of people.

Pastor Robinson has been the recipient of various awards and accolades including the 2004 Father of the Year Award from ICS in Grenada, Mississippi. He is a family man who loves and leads by example. He is one of the most gifted and comprehensive teacher of his time as well as a gifted and anointed revivalist, preacher, vocalist and compassionate man of God. Second Baptist is feeling the impact of his ministry in a powerful way. God's anointing has already filled the church. Souls are being saved, and the Word is going forth. Pastor Robinson is married to Tonya R. Robinson of Woodland, Mississippi; and is the father of four children: Brittanica, Antonio, Andrew, Jr, and Andrea. The Pastors vision for this church is one tyhat could only come from God. Under his leadership we have formed a wonderful seniors ministry, improved our youth ministry, and have aquired two properties that are prime real estate. God is moving us to a greater level of mission and ministry for the Master.
